Despite first impressions of the reception area, the staff were very nice. My room was perfect and so comfortable. I had a lounge with TV, kitchen area, lots of storage space, TV in the bedroom, along with a lovely king-sized bed. Bathroom had everything I needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me as five minute walk to the train station, restaurants close by and easy for my son to get to me from Iona. The breakfast area is nice, and although no cooked breakfast, still a good choice of food. I really like that there is a wash room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for use by guests.

Staff is just fantastic, calm, professional, kind. Building is clearly a conversion from residential, so it’s more solid, better finishes, huge rooms. Nicest Residence Inn we’ve ever encountered.

The room and kitchen is very clean. Everything is provided in order to cook. In the heat and due to neighbours blasting music, I asked for the quietest room and landlady obliged and swapped me over. Mattress is very comfortable. Room has TV with Netflix. Lock on the room is digital and kept playing up so I couldn't enter, but landlady did eventually sort it out.
