The panoramic view of Bad Gastein from our apartment was breath-taking. The private sauna and bath in the room were very therapeutic. The spa and treatments made a most rejuvenating New Year getaway. The hotel is in a picturesque valley just next to the waterfall. We were invited to celebrate the New Year countdown at the balcony with fellow guests, with complimentary bubblies, and unforgettable fresh snow. The apartment was a clean, pretty new, nice desiged, faire-price. It is located 3 minutes away from the bus stations from which you can reach Bad Gastein or Bad Hoffgastein in less than 10 minutes. The busses stop directly in front of the skii lift. The apartment had a nice small kitchen with microwave and Nesspresso machine and a dining space, which we enjoyed for having breakfast and dinner every day. The owner and his father were super helpful and kind.

I recently stayed at this hotel “Das Diellehen” and was thoroughly impressed. The property is impeccably clean and exudes a cosy, warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. We had a great skiing vacation here in Bad Gastein despite the lack of fresh snow and extremely warm weather. Special thanks to Alex Hinterberger - she made our stay in Das Schider exceptional, and she was so hospitable and friendly. Thanks, Alex! Hope to meet you again. In general, this hotel has everything you need. Superb idea for the breakfast, the staff was taking every minute care about the order of breakfast stuff, etc. The sauna with a superb mountain view and the terrace - this is the best you need to rejuvenate your batteries after skiing. The Hotel is located in a very quiet area, 10 min walking distance to the city center with restaurants and a famous waterfall, which is just fabulous! Special thanks from my daughter to 2 kitties - they are so friendly and cute.
