Hotel might not look like much from the outside, but my room was new (including the bathroom), clean and comfortable. Restaurant also seems to be renovated and staff was nice and very helpful. I needed to use the room until the afternoon and they were very helpful and didn't charge me any extra.

Cleanliness and comfort were superb. The rooms were very dark while sleeping which is very much needed while travelling. The staff were very kind.

This is the highest quality place we have ever stayed in. The insulation is so good that if it is cold outside it's warm inside and if it is hot outside it's cool inside. This is our second time here: last year was very warm and this year a little fresh. In any case you cannot trust the weather forecast because of the proximity of mountains and anything can happen. The weather can be terrible down at the lake and much nicer up the mountain. The living room is large and comfortable and has the best acoustics imaginable as the floor is stone as are the walls. Since the walls are thick, the place is essentially sound proof, so this is an exceptional place for musicians (who play portable instruments, obviously). There are many lovely things nearby: there are hiking paths, the Arboretum (the only one in Switzerland) and several lovely small towns and villages on the way to, or on Lake Geneva.
