We really enjoyed our stay in Kalix Riverside Inn. It is a unique family owned swedish place where a lot of effort and care has been put in. We stayed in the house on top of the hill with a shared sauna in front. Room and bathroom were very clean, decoration was very original with a great vintage taste and kitchen was super well equipped, including oil, salt, tea and basics which are always a really nice detail. The hosts are very kind, providing us many self made booklets of things to do around the area. Breakfast was great with views to the river and the bird life. We also loved dinner in the evening. Products are local and were delicious. We would really recommend staying here for an authentic nature experience supporting family owned businesses! Hopefully we can come back in the summer!

A lovely well-equipped refurbished old timber house, in a sleepy village just outside of Kalix. A great place for our group of six to rest while travelling between northern Norway and Helsinki - standard as described. Could be a great base for anybody who likes being away from the crowds and wants to explore the area around the north of the Baltic Sea.

Situated 250 metres from the Kalix River, this hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Kalix Bus Station. Private parking and WiFi are free.

Very friendly and flexible Hotel owner. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was perfect for me. It had everything I needed. As a business traveller, I must say that good size TV with all the streaming service apps was a great thing to get my mind away from business matters before sleeping. Definitely one of the most comfortable and warm feeling hotels I have seen around the world.

It s very clean and tidy. The host was super nice. very reactive and helpful. The location is good for joining polar explorer ice breaker. Absolute good value for money.

The room is super clean ❤️ Kon is very kind and very accommodating to the kids. Reception associates are super friendly and well organised with our request. Breakfast buffet is great. A nice sauna inside a suite room. Super cozy and excellent value for money 👍👍👍

Petr is a very pleasant and helpful person, and he made me feel very welcome here. The house itself was very taken care of, it was clean, he had prepared new towels for me, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and warm inside - something I very much appreciated as it was -20⁰C outside at the time. :D Overall a great experience!
