A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Nice hotel, big room, comfortable bed. Nice wellness place. Good location, near the ski slope, near the highway. Great breakfast: eggs, ham, salmon, prosciutto, croissants, various cheeses, coffee, mimosas…we really enjoyed our stay.

The landlady is the most kind person, it made for a highlight of my trip. The Pension may be on the outskirts of the town, but it's located just at the Alpe Adria bicycle way, which I was taking. The place is modern, sparkling clean, quiet. The breakfast buffet was just outstanding. Also, the place provided a locked space (a garage) for the bicycle, which most places on the bike route didn't.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a bicycle rental service and ski storage space are also available on-site. we were looking to break up our trip from Padua to Vienna halfway and searching the area around the Austrian/Italian/Slovenian border we found this and it was absolutely perfect. And in addition it was totally quiet! The property is beautiful and has access to a mountain stream in the back. excellent breakfast was served right into the room. lovely hosts.

Check in is via a kiosk, went smoothly, prior to arrival the host sent all needed info, and clarification. Apartment was spacious with modern design, modern and well equipped kitchen area. Air conditioning is available. Apartment was well cleaned on arrival. Overally I can recommend the place, one outstanding thing was wifi which was surpsingly fast.

If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the apartment can arrange a ski equipment rental service. The property is very clean and well appointed. From the condition of the furniture etc the apartment may be rather new. Everything was provided, including a bottle of wine when we arrived. The property is away from the city center and is very quiet. One does need a car to get groceries and get to restaurants. Please keep in mind that all stores in Austria are closed on Sunday so one must plan ahead. I did not have any contact with the host outside of e-mail, but all contact was fast and courteous.

The apartment is equipped with literally everything you will need ( Fully equipped kitchen with cleaning set in cute box , washing machine and iron facilities, fast speed Internet, TV with streaming services like Netflix, there is a dedicated parking space just outside the building, an elevation that reach every floor and there was an AC in our apartment not that we need it as the weather was nice and there was mosquito net on the window and balcony doors) . Beautiful view of the lake and 3 Grocery store nearby and they direct you to a access to a beach nearby to swim or paddle on the lake . Villach center is approximately 10 Min drive .
