We just loved our time in this appartment and we definitely recommend it! - extremely clean, with everything mostly new, of good quality, and nothing missing, as well as nicely decorated. Isabel is very nice and had anticipated every possible need. The flat is very comfortable (with comfy double bed, great sofa & kitchen space, nice & clean bathroom / good internet connection ) and seemed to us bigger than the indicated 30 m2 and bigger than on the pictures! There is also the outside extension with sitting/eating area, that can also be used in case of rain as it is protected / covered above. Lines of trees separate from the other neighbours properties, so you have your own space outside. The neighbouring area is quiet and nice. The private covered garage (shared with neighbours) is in the same private building, to which you can have access just from the main road, this is so convenient and secure. Also, you are not immediately on the lake shore, and the neighbouring house doesn't allow a direct view on it, but the lake shore is so near, at a few steps/minutes walking distance (via a little road under the train line), with a beach bar where to have a drink or a snack. Also there is a little shop nearby (called VOLG) to do some food shopping, also open on Sundays. The train line is not far but not many trains/ and anyway we didn't hear much and it does not disturb at all. It was great to come back to the quiet flat & relaxing lake, after busy day hiking in mountains/ or after visits of Interlaken (at about 9 km) and Bern (47 km). Thank you Isabel for your kindness and professionalism! this was a great choice for quality/pricing in the area. / we had no time to test TV - and we didn't miss it! ___ I am adding pictures :)

This traditional property was very comfortable, clean and provided everything we wanted. It is in a great location with great views to the church and Staubbach waterfall and within walking distance of everything. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to our enquiries.

The staff was extremly friendly. The woman that welcomed us (I presume she was the owner of the hotel) actualy gave us a larger room with mountain view free of additional charge. Me and my girlfriend are foodies, and we like fancy restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was Michelin standard, for a reasonable price (Dinner costed around 150€ but it was worth of it). Very tasty and good portions.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train.

One of the most heartwarming places. The view from the rooms was amazing, and the bed was very soft and comfortable. The train station pick-up and drop-off were arranged in a very professional way, and the station is just a 10-minute walk away. The surrounding area is very nice and calm. Exceeded the expectations; "This hotel gave us no room to complain". The hotel is a classic one (wooden and carpet walls); beds are super comfy; rooms are well equipped with almost all modern facilities (hair dryers, kettles, etc). Bathrooms are super clean and well maintained; not to mention the excellent fittings, etc, that will make you realize you are not in an ordinary 4-star hotel. We had booked a family room and the hotel gave us a corner room (two views - Staubach falls and Jungfraujoch peak). And yes it is very near to the railway station, 3 to 5 mins walk (will feel nothing if you have trolley bags). Due to time constraints, we couldn't enjoy other facilities the hotel offerred like spa, swimming pools, etc
