I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Fantastic breakfast every morning, hosts upgraded my room which was amazing, brilliant warm shower.

The Cottage was incredibly clean and extremely well equipped with modern and top quality facilities. Very comfortable would definitely recommend. Parents loved it as well. Underfloor heating was great and the place was just generally very warm even in March with snow outside.

Un véritable havre de paix au cœur des Cairngorms ! Les propriétaires sont passés nous saluer et étaient adorables, ils avaient préparé des petites attentions pour nous à notre arrivée, qui font une belle différence (nous avions même un sapin de Noël dans le logement) ! Le gite est très agréable, idéalement équipé quelle que soit la durée du séjour, on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi :) Il est également bien situé pour pouvoir rayonner tranquillement au coeur du massif, avec une position assez centrale, j'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Location was great for what we had planned. Attention paid to cleanliness, info book Comfortable beds, nice linens and lovely towels. Decor pleasing Amenities great loved heated bathroom floor.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here. The night sky was amazing. A shop and a pub down the road, plus other eateries. There are a couple of gift shops and a whisky shop.

Lovely staff, sensational food, gorgeous room and my dog and I were made so welcome. Beautifully decorated throughout the hotel and spotlessly clean. 5 stars to you all
