Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside bevindt zich in Minami Uonuma, op 29 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa en 25 km van skioord Maiko. Owner is a Singaporean. She is 10/10! Very kind and helpful. A very beautiful and fully equipped house. Owner upgraded our room, and we really grateful for that!

Yukinohana is gelegen in Yuzawa, op 2,3 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa, en biedt een restaurant, allergievrije kamers, gratis WiFi en een bar. First of all the staff is very friendly. It’s a nice new hotel, well decorated, with tatami mats around the property. So you can just wear socks (even provided). The onsen facilities are very nice. Which for us the main reason to visit the hotel. It’s nice that at certain time of day they provide free snacks or even ramen in the evening.

Noka Minshuku Sanzen bevindt zich op 24 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. This place is magical. We've been to Japan a few times and this was one of our favourite stays ever. We stayed in the beautifully restored guest house and enjoyed an amazing Japanese breakfast in the main house every morning. The owners are a wonderful and incredibly generous family, who went above and beyond and even drove us to local restaurants and a great onsen. As we didn't have a car, we went on a hugely enjoyable tour of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field with the lovely and very knowledgable Nobu. Huge thanks to Nobu and her family for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Yado Brodiaea bevindt zich op 31 km van Zenkō-ji Tempel, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Er is een gedeelde lounge bij deze accommodatie en je kunt in de buurt skiën. Definitely one of the best stay experience so far in Japan. The hosts are extremely good and I am out of words to describe how welcoming they are. They took care of every small thing we needed and beyond that. They guided us through all the necessary details of the town, gave us a short tour of the town and also dropped and picked us up from the ski resort. The entire property has floor heating and was so clean, comfortable and cozy. I am really thankful to them for all the efforts they have made to make our trip a memorable one.

Pension Moomin Papa bevindt zich in Myoko, op 31 km van Zenkō-ji Tempel en 33 km van station Nagano. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Papa drove us everywhere we wanted. We appreciate this ☺️ Papa provided an onsen.

Nishiura Hotel (Bellevue) is a real hidden gem. Nestled in the Japanese Alps, it is ideally located in the middle of a major winter sports area, along with many onsen (hot springs) spots including one onsite. The host is most gracious and goes the extra mile for his guests. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Shosenkaku Kagetsu beschikt over 10 uniek ontworpen warmwaterbronnen en biedt accommodatie in Japanse stijl op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het treinstation JR Echigo Yuzawa. The traditional style of the hotel was excellent. The whole place just oozes with relaxing vibes, the bedroom was lovely and clean - the beds very comfortable and the private Onsen is a must. Great staff too, so welcoming.
