The best resort in Tsakhkadzor. Each time we really enjoy our stay in this hotel. The quiet and relaxed location with a nice scenery and clean air, the friendly and helpful staff, the facilities, the rooms, and of course the best meal with an exceptional food selection and a great service from the restaurant staff. I would highly recommend this property.

Exceeded our expectations: luxurious hotel for a very reasonable price. There is a ski trail directly from the hotel to ropelines, but it is only for experienced people (the trail is actually of black, not blue type). We really enjoyed swimming pool, saunas and live music in the evenings. The only minor drawback is that the meat and the fish we ordered in the restaurant were overcooked.

We had such a lovely stay up here at the Casanova Hotel. It's located a short 10 minute taxi ride (always a Yandex available) from the center of town and is nestled alongside a beautiful hill and overlooks the mountains around Dilijan. The atmosphere here is so warm and cozy with a really cool 1930's mountain chalet vibe. Each morning there is a scrumptious breakfast with plenty of variety (and slight variations each morning). Then there is a restaurant which has a lovely menu with plenty of tasty options at reasonable prices for lunch and dinner. The staff are super lovely and accommodating. Special shout out to Vahan who has a heart of gold and speaks perfect English. Haik was also a champion and did a great job attending to our meals. We had a wonderful spacious and tidy room and were kindly upgraded as we arrived during a quiet period. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Dilijan to come and stay at the Casanova Hotel. You won't regret it!

Location was perfect, 10min walk to ropeway(Ski Resort). There's a nice local restaurant (Gon) opposite the hotel. Our room had a balcony with snow view, peaceful surroundings at daytime & evening, Room size was spacious & has sofa. They have basic bathroom amenities & hairdryer you can request @ the reception. They provide drinking water dispenser (hot&cold) in the hallway of every floor, which was convenient for us as you just need to refill your pitcher (no kettle in room). Heater in room is great as it gets very cold in the evening in winter. Breakfast starts at 9am,buffet w/ cold cuts, cheeses, porridge, breads, jams, eggs, sausages,rice,quinoa& coffee. Room price paid was reasonable for a comfy stay. Very helpful & friendly reception lady who responds quickly on watsapp, helped us with all our requests like airport pick up, warming our take away food, helping us w directions, & allowed us to leave our luggage's after check out while we come back for it in the evening. Thank you so much for the hospitality. Keep it up!

In its architecture, history, and enduring internal culture, the Writers’ Hotel in Tsaghkadzor is a real hidden treasure. You can see the rooms where great 20th century authors, including Hrant Matevossian and Silva Kaputikyan, lived and worked. The hotel is frequented by active Armenian writers as well, which led to some interesting meetings and conversations. The hallways and lobbies are full of paintings, sculptures, and murals, and among many other amenities and curiosities there is a well-stocked Armenian and Russian library. The staff, from the director, to the front desk, to the room service, were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly, which contributed a lot to making my visit a pleasant one. The room, bed, shower, and so on, were clean and comfortable and the internet was stable enough for me to take work calls. The hotel is within convenient walking distance of the 11th-century monastery of Kecharis and the main streets of the town, with restaurants and stores. I would recommend the Writers’ Hotel to anyone as the best value for a stay in Tsaghkadzor, but if you have an interest in Armenian or Soviet literature and culture it is simply unmissable.
