Close to the lake where we could take a great morning walk. Great breakfast, room was warm in winter and smelling nicely as wood from the natural wood furniture.

A hotel with the charming atmosphere of an old monastery. A magical place, enhanced by the time before Christmas and the Christmas markets right next to the hotel. Great maisonette room, perfectly equipped. Amazingly quiet place. Excellent hotel restaurant Benedictus with very helpful and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast. A huge advantage is the underground parking lot with direct access to the hotel. Extremely nice staff, thank you all for a wonderful stay. The first hotel to which we give 10 in all parameters.

I stayed one night with my family and it was great. The room was spacious, the beds were comfy and it was very clean. The breakfast was good with friendly staff. The best part was the outdoors, with lots of toys and a playground; our kind enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this accommodation for families.

My wife accidentally left her pouch, containing all her lipsticks, at the hotel, and we only realized it after arriving in another city. Viktoria didn’t hesitate—she made sure the pouch was delivered to our hotel in the new city, saving the day. The location, the scenery, the food we loved it all!! Staff in the hotel is truly caring, very friendly and they really want to make sure you have a superb stay at See Rose. The room and facilities were spotless, there’s a little gym in the hotel too, that’s got enough equipment to have a good workout. Once you leave the hotel there’s plenty of activities to do nearby, if you like hiking or walking in general this is the perfect place for you. Public transport is pretty good , there’s 2 bus in most hours from the village to either towards Salzburg or Bad Ischl. I’m glad we spent 4 nights there and can’t wait to come back in summer time!

The absolute best thing about this property is the view from the balcony, which implies that the location is absolute best (just to reiterate). The breakfast buffet spread was pretty diverse and moreover, you can enjoy your food while looking over the beautiful valley.

This traditional, family-run hotel is located in the heart of the picturesque town of St. Gilgen, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Wolfgang.
