While the cost of the accommodation was high (but hey, that's Switzerland), relatively, it was well worth it. The location is excellent, central in town and a walk across the road to the train station (I came to Vevey from Geneva). The room was like a modern and very well maintained motel room, with a hot and strong shower/bath, a very comfortable bed, and basic but useful facilities, including a desk (I was there for work, after all!). The breakfast provided an excellent start to the day, with a good variety of high quality food, with the bonus of wonderfully friendly staff. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and, cost aside, I'd gladly stay there again. Very highly recommended!

The view overlooking Lake Geneva is exceptional, so be sure to book a room with balcony on the lakeside. Our room was on the top floor with 2 balconies on the front overlooking the lake, and 2 balconies on the side. It was very large, with an equally large bathroom. The entire hotel is superbly decorated and elegant. The staff was outstanding in every respect, from the doormen and valets, to the reception and concierge, to the restaurant staff, as well as housekeeping. The restaurant was delightful with an interesting menu.

The 4-star superior Hotel Mona is located right on the banks of Lake Geneva in Montreux, and offers unobstructed views of the lake and the Alps from all rooms, as well as free WiFi access.

The hotel location is excellent, very close to down town, less then 10 minutes, very close to the train station, and all other attractions in town.Spectacular view from my very clean and tidy room. Staff very friendly, helpful, attentive and quick to respond. Honestly one of my best experiences in hotels, excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

Only a few steps from Lake Geneva, Villa Toscane is an Art Nouveau building from 1905 with a beautiful interior design. The rooms are decorated in a modern style with light colours.

We were very pleased that to our surprise, at the check-in we had the offer to stay at the Royal Plaza Montreux, instead of the Villa Toscana, which for some reason was closed. We certainly enjoyed the facilities and all the comfort of the Royal Plaza Hotel. Special mention for the efficiency and kindness of Miss Denis, at the front desk, as well as the rest of the team.

Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is located in the centre of Lausanne and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva. The Fine Arts Museum is 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Very convenient location with a great view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Hotel provides a Metro pass which makes it easy to get around. Good gym and pool. Very nice room - with a balcony. Also nicely up to date and clean.
