Loved the location. This was our first time in Colombia, so we were glad to be able to walk to restaurants and night life. The hotel staff was exceptional - from the bell person to the front desk, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff - were all very friendly and welcoming. They suggested excursions we can do to enjoy more of Medellin. We are very appreciative of them. We will definitely stay at this property again. I also liked that this was not a cookie cutter hotel, there are many aspects of the culture of Colombia , captured throughout the property. Also, the bartenders made the best drinks! The hotel helped us with connecting with our driver, Miguel. He was the absolute best! He was punctual, funny, kind, and helped us to explore the city.

I’m allergic to pig meat and the hotel doesn’t provide another choice for the ham. I like the eggs with ham, turkey or chicken ham, and because of this I couldn’t have the breakfast I usually have. To me the breakfast is very important!

ElCielo was in an excellent location, near to many attractions and trendy shop and dining streets which are easily walkable. The design and decor were sophisticated and the 3 live walls were stunning! All staff were amazing, attentive and well appointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, personally I could have done without the bath by the bed and had a table or desk but can appreciate the allure to some people.the food in all restaurants was amazing and reasonably priced.

Superb stay for few nights in Medellín! The room was excellent, and we upgraded our room so we could enjoy the beautiful city and mountain views. Reception stafff was super friendly, special thanks to Yeisson for very professional and kind service! Also thanks to the ”Bellboys” who definitely improved the quality of hospitality and our overall experience. Only dissapointment was the hotel restaurant (breakfast was very good), you’d expect more in such a high quality hotel. Service was slow and many mistakes with orders. One night we got served by Jesica who was definitely most professional of all waiters, served us with a wide smile and positive vibe, thanks to her! Overall very good stay, would stay again! For safe transports to/from the airport you can ask the hotel reception :) (and for arriving in Medellin Airport, please spare 1-3 hours for the immigration!!! SUPER SLOW!
