Omg what a beautiful place to stay! Everything was simply perfect - the beautiful tropical garden, the infinity pool with the views, the villa design, the welcoming staff and the overall facilities - I can't even get all the words to describe how impressive this place is. Santa Teresa is very busy and noisy but once you arrive at Hotel Horizon you are in an oasis of calmness and serenity. The pictures of the villa don't do it justice - it is so beautifully decorated, authentic, spacious and comfortable. All the little details are accounted for. It's probably our best stay in Costa Rica, and I do A LOT of research when I search for places to stay.

The price of the hostel was excellent given how nice it was. There’s breakfast available for purchase at the hostel which was really fast and very reasonably priced. The pool was really nice. A nice big kitchen. The volunteers where really friendly and helpful.

Room was clean & cozy, breakfast was delicious, the pool was beautiful and lots of comfortable seating both sunny and shady, there was a well equipped yoga area which I enjoyed, and everyone was just very friendly and super helpful. I felt so at home that I sincerely didn’t want to leave 😄
