The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.

Everything is super Breakfast is fantastic. It consists from two different parts. One you take yourself from a wonderful buffet-table. Another part you order from the menu. It is unforgettable!

Stayed in the apartment block which was new and modern with all amenities. It was quiet even though my room was on the first floor. Lovely balcony to sit out in the evenings. I used this as a base to travel around the Black Forest area and visit the quaint towns in that region.
