The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and efficient. they really made us feel special at every touchpoint. The hotel is so quiet, in nature, really perfect to relax. All the food we had was delicious and they had a very large bar offer. The spa is great, hot spa pool, steam room, really good offer.

We didn’t have time for breakfast as we were out early as we had a funeral to go to! The room was excellent warm,clean and lovely comfy beds,and dog friendly is a bonus!

The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and very well cared for. The reception staff were very friendly and polite and our room was as expected. The reception area had comfortable seating and allowed for drinks to be served from the bar. The breakfast was excellent with nothing missing except a selection of alternate teas (fruit) to avoid having to request this from staff.

Just 1 mile from Whitchurch, the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel boasts 2 18-hole golf courses and a restaurant. The leisure centre has a pool, gym and a nail bar.

Nice clean hotel in lovely surroundings, nice friendly staff with good gym and pool. Very comfortable bed and nice quiet room. 2 minute drive into the town.
