Very pleasant stay and a wonderful surprise: a hotel that combines comfort and authenticity (rare during my stay in Rajasthan). A stunning marble swimming pool, the best hospitality experience of my trip to India. Many thanks to Sunil, the manager, for his advices and warm welcome.

I have just spent the most amazing 24 hours at Island Tower Guesthouse. Coming from the other side of the world I was completely blown away with how the whole guesthouse was presented. I believe I had the privilege of being the first guest to stay in the newly decorated rooms. Each room is decorated completely differently in colour and paintings on the walls and ceilings. Just magical. The rooms are well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . In the evening I went up to the rooftop restaurant which has the most amazing view over Lake Pichali. At dusk the sky is a mass of black as bats head to the countryside in search of food. The restaurant has a very relaxed inviting feel to it and one can enjoy tasty seasonal food cooked to your liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was up at 5am the next morning to be taken on a scooter to feed the lime green parrots who inhabit areas around the lake. Stunning. If you are looking to have an amazing experience in Udaipur I recommend you spend time at this guesthouse

The location is simply aamazing, a fortress-palace surrounded by a cute village and fields all over and the Aravali hills encircling it all. Service is TOP, the staff are really incredible. Our Aravali suite was huge and so beautifully done, with views from three sides, words canoot describe how amazing it is!

Booked a Grand Lake View through booking.com. We were upgraded to a room with balcony - and we did not have a direct view of the lake as the balcony oversaw the inner garden, city, mountains and a partial view of the lake. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. During the evening there was a troupe of local folk singers that entertained the guests with their singing. The food was delicious - and the buffet is recommended since ordering ala carte would end up adding to the same amount. Would recommend trying their signature malpua - it was fantastic. The complimentary chaat counter during the evening was amazing. Do sit by the lake during the evening or after dinner for a peaceful experience.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It was a lot better than i expected. I would certainly stay here again. The staff and management are very good. The view of the hills from my balcony at the back of the hotel was extremely good! The food was very good. I would like to mention Mahendra Singh from the restaurant who was excellent and thank him for looking after me so well ! :-)
