It has the best pool on our travels to date. They let us check in really early. The room had an amazing view over the Umbria Valley. On the morning we left they let us start our breakfast 30 minutes early.

Absolutely exceptional stay at Tenuta San Masseo – an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The views and property were absolutely beautiful! We so enjoyed walking around the property looking for donkeys and goats. The food and wine at the restaurant were delicious, one of our favourite meals of our trip! The property was only a short drive go Assisi and we really appreciated the advice on where to park and recommended routes for walking around the town.

The house is fantastic and every detail has been thought of - the garden is equipped with a bbq, lots of spaces to sit and relax (lots of shade), and a jacuzzi. The living room has a pool table that can be turned into a table tennis table and is for private use. The kitchen is lovely ( a typical ‘country kitchen ‘) and is also very well equipped (even oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc is available for use). Three of the bedrooms have double beds and another bedroom has two single beds. The mattresses are (unlike many holiday homes) very comfortable! The house is located in a small village. Despite the fact that it is very small, there are two very good restaurants, a bakery and a bar! The nearest supermarket is 3 km away. Assisi is about 13 minutes driving from the house. The host is super friendly and responds very quickly to any questions. We also received some great tips for places to visit. We definitely recommend this place!!

It was fabulous. Immaculately clean, very modern with a stunning sauna, pool and hot tub overlooking incredible views. The breakfast was by far the best we had during our stay in Italy. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was close enough to walk into Assisi in 20 mins or so
