Everything Perfect, great Location

Facilities were absolutely top class. A huge and spacious room with a comfy bed and every amenity you could think of. Host considered every option and catered for all of them. Amazing, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Súper clean, breakfast perfect very large . I had an amazing time here feeling at home. Very nice people . Opposite to the cumana train station. Nice restaurant walking distance I recommend il capricho.

The port is close by, and the monument and church where the Apostle Paul arrived are a 10-minute walk away, and the Roman amphitheater is a 6-minute walk away.

When choosing a place for a great holiday, aside from the mandatory “clean/quiet/organized/unpretentious/hot-water-does-not-run-out”, we have a checklist that helps: 1) small and family run, 2) has a garden and an uncrowded pool, 3) close to the sea, but away from the main street, 4) walking distance to the nearest town, 5) good food inside or close-by. This place checks all the boxes!!! If you are anything like us, you will enjoy it greatly. When we booked, there were not many reviews - and this boutique hotel bested our expectations. The owners Paola and Dario make you feel at home, as does the main waiter in the restaurant, Pino. Most recommended! The location: you are in a garden just above the sea, 100 m walk from a little beach, away from the main road. It is also a 10-15 min seaside walk to the cozy Forio - or 3 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to anywhere on the island. (Note that if you are coming from Napoli, you can take the ferry directly to Forio. Dario was very kind - he picked us up at the ferry. You really do not need a car in Ischia.) The hotel looks better in reality than in the photos. There are two pools: one regular large pool, one thermal hot water. The pool area is separated from the hotel by a garden and the dining terrace, so you do not hear the pool sounds in the rooms. The room was renovated and clean. Airconditioning is quiet and works well. The restaurant: The breakfast and lunch is served on the garden terrrace, the dinner is in a downstairs hall. We had two lunches and a dinner during our stay, all of which were really delicious and ample. For us, the food bested all other restaurants in Ischia.

We actually loved everything about this hotel. It is our first time on Ischia so we did not know much about the island and its neighborhoods. But now we know a bit more, and realize how lucky we were choosing Casa Guiseppina. 1. Ischia is a wonderful island. 2. The Sant Angelo area is really beautiful and cars are banned in the centre of the village. 3. The village of Succhivo, 1 km away is the perfect hub in the area. You have a bus stop, a snack bar and a nice restaurant "Osteria della Mamma". 4. Casa Guiseppina is the obvious place to choose for a stay. There are three sections of the hotel: the main building with the restaurant, the nearby annex with the pool, and a bit away they have some larger apartments. 5. The pool. We stayed in the pool section of the hotel. The building is affluently embedded in flowers, trees, pergolas and the vulcano-heated pool is pleasantly 35 degrees warm. 6. Rooms are rustic, cleaning is flawless. 7. The hosts are great and have an informal friendliness making you feel very welcome. 8. Breakfast is fresh with fruits, eggs by choise, and good coffee served at the table. 9. You can on a daily whim choose if you want dinner or not. Just tell before noon. 10. Dinner is a well tasting four course meal with a great mix of dishes focusing on vegetables, pasta, meat/fish + dessert. Of the + 50 hotels I reviewed in Booking, this is the kind of 3 star hotels you never would trade even if you are offered a 5 star alternative.

Excellent staff very helpful, great sea views and garden

The beachfront location and views from your room and restaurant were excellent. We loved the food and ate their for most meals - breakfast and dinner were good, plus we really enjoyed the 'pub lunch'. We don't speak Italian, so communication wasn't always easy, however we embraced it and got by with the very happy and accommodating staff.

We had a sea view room with a very nice view, perfect also for watching sunset from our terrace with a cocktail from the bar. Staff is very friendly and always there to help when it comes to getting around on the island, renting a boat, etc. The combination of the beach 100m nearby and the four thermal pools of the hotel make it a perfect fit for a relaxing stay.
