The staff at the desk were extremely kind and very smiley! Although they don’t speak english, very easy to communicate if you speak japanese or if you speak no japanese they have paper sheet of rules. Onsen was wonderful, 4F and 2F, rooms were extremely clean and had a TV!

Just a 7-minute drive from Izu-kogen Train Station, Mori no yu Kira No Sato Reopening on December 22, 2025 features natural hot spring baths among peaceful greenery.

The whole environment felt like stepping back to the old days of japan with wooden structures and stands and many different types of onsens. They even have free ramen at night.

Room was beautiful! Teppanyaki dinner was the best meal! Premium Ice cream vending machine was a treat! It was quiet and private.
