What a lovely little home stay and spa. If you like to live in a little bungalow next to a pond , listen to the animals, eat beautiful home cooked food together with one of the local staff sharing stories about her life and life in Cambodia then this is the place for you. You can take a bike to cycle around the area or do some yoga on your little terrace on the provided yoga mat . The spa is an experience for the senses where you make your body scrub yourself out of different roots and herbs . The smells are amazing . You sit in a tradition al steam room and get an amazing massage and a beautiful lunch with lots of fresh herbs . I would love to go there again next time . The staff consisted of some of the sweetest people. They always inquired about me and how I was finding the city and made recommendations about places to visit. The rooms were decent and had a good view. The reception staff will help you stay updated if you have booked a bus with Giant Ibis for further travels (which will pick you up from the front of the hotel, if you book tickets on Giant Ibis website; not all hotels are listed but this one is). The property is right on the main road that goes to Phnom Penh.

It was a very relaxing stay. Although a bit further from the city centre, but it was a very peaceful and with nice surroundings. Breakfast was very tasty.

We had the most amazing stay at Rivertree! We were fortunate to be given an upgrade to a riverfront villa which was so lovely and private. We loved it so much that we booked an additional night. We recommend the sunset cruise as a nice way to explore the river and the cooking class, which were both highlights of our stay. We were able to use the kayaks to explore the green cathedral every day and we stopped in at some lovely places on the river (you can get a tuk tuk if you prefer). The staff and service was great and everybody was so friendly. Sereysaophorn took us on our sunset cruise and told us all about Kampot. He always made sure to say hello during our stay. We have been travelling across Asia for almost 3 months and this has been our favourite stay. Thank you!

The hotel must have been recently built as everything is new. Staff are nice and the hotel location is good - a nice 5 min walk into town from a quieter location.
