The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. We loved everything. Dewan, our butler, was super kind, gave us good tips what things to do with the time we had, talked with us, pick us up every time we needed, took us in a morning walk nature to see the sunrise on a top of a mountain and super helpfull all the time. All the staff was really kind, food is really tasty, the hotel is amazing and super confy and the view is insane. Our room was perfect. We travel a lot around the world and this hotel is one of our favorit ever. Recommend 100%. Hope to come back one day again.

I loved the location, the view from the terrace and the breakfast. The rooms are very large. The host is very nice and they help you to get a tuk tuk which is a good option as they are a little far out from the town but you could still walk to it if you want.

A fantastic accommodation with an amazing staff. Mr Shirley is a amazing young man who made me more then welcome 🙏 this is a beautiful place to stay. How ever people like Shirley make it come to life by just that extra amount of love and care. I recommend this place to everyone.

I really appreciate the behavior and approach of the staff. Very helpful, pleasant. Small snack after check-in. They helped us solve any problem. We needed transportation to Kandy, we didn't want to take the train for 10 hours, so they arranged a car for a good price. The overall approach was really unique, I have to praise them a lot. They also recommended a tour of a local plantation and arranged a tuktuk for a great price. The rating of 10 is truly deserved.

Our hosts were so sweet and the accommodation was great! They helped us with an early breakfast before our train and with a lift to the station. The bed was comfy and the views were outstanding. Would love to return.

This place was 100% romantic lying on a hillside. The view was great. It is not a luxury place but there is a fridge, water boiler, hairdryer etc. Breakfast is good and the owner is friendly. He also offers tuktuk service on request. I felt it is a bit a special place because it is so hidden. We were in another place in Ella before but that one was more expensive and not so special.
