The place is amazing, a silent garden with small villas and a common space where delicious dinner is served! They even helped us with a good breakfast to-go because we left for the safari really early in the morning. The room was so nice and we loved the open shower.

Cute little houses in a well kept little resort. The room was simple but spotlessly clean. We immediately felt comfortable. If it’s a snack, tea or a breakfast package to take along on the safari, the hosts do their absolute best. Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the house and listen to the evening wildlife. Personally, I think the location is even better than shown on the pictures and an absolute recommendation!

Thank you Mansala for a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and the view from the balcony even better. We had the best breakfast and dinner here so far in Sri Lanka, the landlady is an excellent chef, definitely recommend eating here. We also had a safari trip arranged through mansala house and it was.amazing. Mansala has drivers who respect nature, don't raid and still give you an interpretation. Thank you, you were amazing.

Wow… we loved the stay in city elephant family resort. We stayed one night with our 2 kids and we felt like we spent the night in our own house. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean, cosy and Beautifully arranged for us to have a good night sleep. Highly recommend this beautiful family resort to others who would like to spend nights during your holidays with your family. The staff was really friendly and treated us so well. We will definitely be back next year for our next holiday in Sri Lanka.

Very nice and friendly host. We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.

We had a fantastic stay at Chill House Safari Resort. The room was spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed. A/C and Wifi worked really well. The best part about our stay was Hashan and his family, they are so lovely and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They also cooked dinner for us which was very delicious. We did the Safari with Hashan as well and it was the best experience. He is the best guide. He gave us lots of information about the animals and the park during the Safari. He has been a guide for a lot of time now and you can truly notice. He knows many good spots in the park so we were alone for almost the whole Safari and he is able to spot literally every animal, no matter how small. We saw so many different animals! He also organised for us to have breakfast in a small hut in the park which was so cool. So if you want to stay at Udawalawe and do a Safari, we can not reccomend this place enough!
