We were greeted upon arrival to the island with a lovely welcome drink. Our private butler then gave us a tour of the island on his golf cart. The check-in process was very smooth and done at our over water villa which was very convenient since we did not need to go to reception to check in. We loved that the resort was brand new and our sunrise water villa room was modern and very well equipped. The restaurant staff, the support staff and our butler Niyaz were super friendly and ready to ensure that we had a fabulous stay at the resort. We enjoyed the lavish breakfast buffet as well as dinner at both restaurants at the resort. The entire resort also felt very private and aside from the restaurant, we saw very few other guests while enjoying the beach or snorkeling. The only one negative is that the coral reefs for snorkeling are not fully developed as yet given that that resort is so new. To get great snorkeling, you need to hire a private boat to go further out from the resort.

A truly all-inclusive heavenly resort. Excellent location, wonderful and spacious over water villa! You can swim from the villa straight to the reef for snorkeling. Lovely restaurants with a great variety and many activities to keep you busy! The hospitality is perfection. Our villa host, Wisham, was truly the best! He had everything arranged for us to the smallest detail and was 24/7 available to accommodate our wishes! The staff were all very helpful. They often already knew I needed gluten-free meals, so I helped point out what I could have and what they could adapt for me. Our butler Niyaz helped us book excursions and meals and gave us interesting information on the local wildlife, which is plentiful. The complimentary snorkle equipment was the most useful thing this holiday. We spent most days going for at least one snorkle around the home reef, with its hundreds of fish species and ocean life. It was like swimming in an aquarium. We even got to see a few turtles on our swims. The cocktails were lovely, plentiful, and not weakly poured. The bed was huge and super comfortable. And we were thankful we could turn the light on the aircon unit off. The curtains even blocked out most light for sleep, which was brilliant. The back jacuzzi was wonderful, sitting in that whilst a storm rolled by with a cocktail and canapes in hand was a wonderful experience. I can not recommend enough going to Hanifaru Bay. We got to swim with feeding manta rays who came so close that they would sweep past and touch us slightly. Such giant majestic creatures, really it was a magical experience.

The place itself is breathtaking, no doubt very comfortable and very clean but the thing that blew my mind the most is customer service, its TOP TIER!Everyone! I mean every single one of the Kudafushi family is welcoming and always have smiles on their faces. Everyone is really great, but I will never forget Francesco who help us settle, Lis who always made us smile and give us yummy grill, despite it being so hot is always very cheerful and the kindest, Shariful who gives us yummy ice cream with a smile on his face and lovely Priyanka who memorize what we like and always go out of her way for us, they all did! It was my husbands birthday and we never told them but they made him feeo special on his birthday, make the table nice for us, give him a special cake and sing happy birthday for him, they even made a happy birthday spelled with leaves and flowers when we went to the spa. Make sure to avail their photoshoot package, they guy who took our photos is very good! I love the photos he took of us, i forgot his name but I hope he’ll check Iceland on his bucketlist. ❤️ All in all Kudafushi is the best, It is my first time in Maldives, and they made me want to come back more! Definitely Coming back there again!
