Hong KongThis a great place to stay if you visit Taiping. It's in a quiet location, just five minutes from the beautiful Lake Gardens and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town The hotel is very well designed, clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If your budget allows, choose a room overlooking the swimming pool. These are larger and have their own private sitting-out area. We were on quite a tight budget and stayed in one of the smaller, functional rooms without a pool view. But when we arrived, we wished we'd loosened the purse strings a little and chosen a poolside room. We still had an excellent stay, however.
