The ambience was very welcoming as soon as we stepped in, the receptionist and staff catered to our needs and helped us to the maximum. The owner and the sons were super chilled and nice. It was my sis birthday, and they made a suprise breakfast for her and even decorated the room for her. The Food was amazing, from the breakfast to the pizza's pastas and drinks all worth the money. The restaurant just overlooks the beach, and at night the view is excellent. If given a choice would definitely go back and stay at this resort!!!

I have returned after 2 years to Kupaga Villas and must say that it is still the perfect beachfront luxurious boutique hotel. Now even more beautiful with renovated bar/restaurant area. Perfectly located in the Jamiani Village with small shops around the corner, close to the spectacular dunes and ocean landscapes. With lovely huge rooms, balconies with sea views, amazing pool, delicious food and drink options for reasonable prices. Perfect spot to unwind and have a happy time. The biggest asset of the hotel is the great service and super friendly staff. A big thank you to all the crew members for all your friendliness and profesionalism! You made my stay just perfect. I liked that the property is very peaceful and has pleasing spaces throughout the property. It is also near to Paje which was preferable for me with a scooter. The beach is very peaceful with minimal crowds and vendors. The dining area was very nice as it is an open space. The room that I had was in front of a pool and it was also nice. Very spacious and maintained and cleaned daily. Also I liked that the spaces had a balanced layout for plants and trees.

Wow, this is just a little paradise !!! From the first time I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Jenny. She made sure I felt like at home while staying there. Jenny is not just a host, she's a a friend ! The vibe in the hotel is so nice and laidback, just as my vacation needed to be. Not to forget : all of the staff is doing an amazing job ! A big thanks too to "team Andrea", the Masai security team that made me feel safe as a solo traveler everytime when I needed a taxi. If you come to Zanzibar, make sure you stay at this place, even though it's not directly at the sea, it's only a 10min walk...

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend! Rooms and hotel very cute and well designed. Stefania and her staff are absolutely amazing!! Bondeni beach house is right behind Bahari bungalows (same owner) which has a beach front so during the day you just cross the road and then you’re right on the beach. the breakfast was also delicious (very good passion fruit jam!) and we loved the Bahari restaurant.
