We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!

Der Sonnenhof begrüßt Sie am Eingang zum Naturschutzgebiet Karwendel in Pertisau direkt neben dem Golfplatz Achensee. The rooms were very clean and spacious with lots of amenities including spa towels, spare rucksack and walking sticks for anyone hiking the local national park. It’s a very comfortable room and we had a double aspect and balcony which was lovely to admire the view of the mountains. The staff were exceptional in making our stay with them the best it could be. The food is exceptional and I highly encourage booking half board as you will not regret it. The breakfast is varied for all diets and the quality of ingredients is extremely good. If staying for dinner you will get a menu at breakfast for dinner with 4 choices of main dinner. The choice of buffet starter is delicious and then there is always a soup choice too. I absolutely loved the soups such as tomato consommé. Then the main dinners and desserts are excellent, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about how great the restaurant is, the creativity of the dishes, flavours and presentation are exceptional. Dishes such as the dessert of lingonberry pancakes with sour ice and local wild blueberries had us talking how delicious it was several times the next day! Then other thoughtful touches like a daily MorganPost newsletter giving weather predictions, hiking routes and things to do as well as offers from the spa were really appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. The quality of everything from the amenities, the cleanliness, the staff and restaurant are excellent. We had to leave to get our flight before breakfast started and this came up just by chance in a conversation and we were immediately invited to the restaurant thirty minutes early so as not to miss out on breakfast before our journey. You would not get this from a big chain of hotels and shows just how much guests are valued at the Sonnerhof.

Am Ufer des Achensees, dem größten See in Tirol, heißt Sie der Gasthof St. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Hotel! Schon bei der Ankunft wurde ich mit einem herzlichen Lächeln empfangen – das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und gastfreundlich. Die Lage ist traumhaft: absolute Ruhe, mit Blick auf den See und auf der Rückseite ein schöner Wald. Mein Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet – eine Suite mit zwei Zimmern, großem Bad, Wohnzimmer und einem Balkon mit herrlicher Aussicht. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und Aktivität: man kann Tannenspitzen sammeln, Fahrrad fahren oder eine Schifffahrt machen. Es gibt wirklich viel Schönes zu entdecken. Auch das Restaurant im Hotel war ausgezeichnet – die Portionen sind groß und sehr lecker. Besonders begeistert war ich vom Kaiserschmarrn – ein echtes Highlight, das ich gleich mehrmals bestellt habe. Alles in allem eine großartige Erfahrung – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Das Appartementhaus Tristenau empfängt Sie direkt neben dem Green 1 des Golfclubs Achensee und liegt nur 10 Gehminuten vom Ufer des Achensees entfernt. Sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit toller Ausstattung und toller Aussicht vom Balkon. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Gratis Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich. Sehr hervorzuheben ist auch das Frühstücksbuffet, gute Auswahl, es ist alles da was man braucht, auch für Vegetarier und Veganer.
