One of the best breakfast buffets ever, everything fresh and good quality (al least 10 types of juices and smoothies, for instance), tasty and interesting dinner (half board), good wine list and signature cocktails. Amazing pool (25 meters for the outdoor one), and I was on my own most of the time. Ski bus reliable and fast, we never waited much.

The Alpine-style rooms all feature a balcony, satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. Had the best week here. Pools are near by, great views, bus stop out front of hotel. Food was good. Had read comments saying no fridge in the room but we had one which was handy. Family room was a good size and comfortable. Kids loved the trampoline. All in all had a fantastic time

It offers comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking. Location location location. Staff VERY friendly. GORGEOUS view from our room. AWESOME breakfast and dinner.

Very unique. Exceptionally clean. Our suite was spacious and lovely view. The food was very good and service was wonderful.

Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. I have stayed in many hotels but this one was the best of all. Not only because of the magical location of the shore of Achensee and embraced by mountains but also because of the facilities, the staff and the food. Let's start with the room: this is the first hotel room where bathroom and toilet are separated. Fantastic idea! The room was spotless clean and the cleaning staff deserve a big applause! The room was silent, well isolated. The walls are not paper thin, you can barely hear anything from outside. It even has a balcony which is also not common. The spa facilities are huge and well-maintained, offering a wide range of possibilities. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the staff super helpful and costumer oriented. The staff deserves all the recognition they can get, they are the ones carrying the hotel on their shoulders and you can see that they are working real hard.
