The whole energy around the property is so tranquil - the garden is spectacular and constantly cared for, the rooms are all different and very special, the staff radiates happiness for working there, and the owners became friends. Hara became a second home where we could relax, take in the beauty and breath all the way out. We were excited to wake up, just because the breakfast was so delicious, with most of it home made. Walking out of the garden, we were instantly on the beach. We are both kitesurfing, and could surf by the pousada, by ourselves. My girfriend had a kitesurfing teacher that would come to us, so it was mostly only the three of us on our spot. Even though it is walking distance to restaurants in town, we discovered that Elixir, the Pousada’s own restaurant, served the best food in Sao Miguel - creative, tasty and pure. Hara Pousada e Spa is truly a paradise to be discovered, and we look so much forward to coming back again.
