What truly touched our hearts was the thoughtful surprise they prepared for our child’s 3rd birthday. From the moment we checked in, we felt the warmth and care of the team. On the special day, they organized a beautiful little celebration that made our child light up with joy – complete with decorations, a small cake, and even a personalized gift. It’s rare to find such genuine attention to detail and kindness. This is more than just a hotel – it’s a place where people truly care about their guests. An indoor play area is also available at Château de Mathod Chambres d'hôtes, while guests can also relax in the garden. Everything. The photos on the app don’t give this place justice. Fabulously renovated rooms with nice amenities such as locally made soaps and such, a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. There is a pool and the hosts make you feel at home.

Majestic hotel in a perfect location. Beautiful rooms with a surprise upgrade for my birthday. Fabulous breakfast choices. The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been more friendly, happy and helpful. We will be back but for longer.

On the other hand, guests feel instantly at home, thanks to the warm and attentive staff, which includes Switzerland's only female chief concierge. Everything was amazing. Beautifully decorated for Christmas (truly magical), clean, amazing, top notch and helpful staff. Food was delicious in all of the restaurants (we tried them all).
