It felt peaceful and I truly enjoyed every minute of my experience and I believe it truly was made special because Will was always going out of his way to!

They helped us get tickets for the city's attractions, and they sent a car to pick us up at the train station. The human quality, beyond the accommodation, is something that should be highlighted. On the other hand, the hotel is very nice, with decent rooms—spacious and very functional for a city stay. It's about 15-20 minutes from one of the park's entrances, which, if you get the right ticket, makes it much easier to access on foot. I would definitely stay here again. The location is superb—within easy reach of both Zhangjiajie’s UNESCO sites, which saved us a lot of travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and the balcony offered stunning mountain views; waking up here felt like sleeping inside a painting. What stood out was the exceptional service. The staff contacted us in advance to arrange airport pickup and helped plan our itinerary, including booking tickets—everything was hassle-free. Special shout-out to Wendy​ for her professionalism and warm assistance throughout our trip! Breakfast had a good variety of Western and local options, perfect for international guests. The hotel’s quiet environment made it a relaxing retreat after busy days of exploring. At Sanctum Peaks guests are welcome to take advantage of a sauna. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around Zhangjiajie, like hiking, fishing and cycling. Beautifully renovated resort deep in the countryside. Staff were extremely tentative and it felt like guest had a personal concierge. When I sprained my ankle, they even gave me ointment to reduce the swelling. The hotel helped us with booking attractions tickets, advised least crowded routes, arranged for taxi services and were very kind at all times. They organised local activities like pounding mochi and food was abundant and delicious! Room was clean and comfortable.

Knowing someone was there to assist me made my entire journey feel much more comfortable. Check-in was incredibly fast with Joanna’s help. She also provided excellent recommendations for the National Forest Park, including which tickets to purchase and the best routes to take. Joanna even helped us secure tickets at a discounted rate. The service was outstanding, I received immediate responses whenever I asked a question. The level of care and professionalism was truly impressive.
