Whilst choosing my hotel in Chengdu I read a review on Ascott saying that the breakfast was limited. I have to say that whilst it is not as extensive as other hotels the selection was excellent and the quality exceptional. We really enjoyed starting every day of our trip with the breakfast at Ascott, and having great family bonding time. The rooms were spacious!

Staff was really nice, in particular the young Jasper who speaks perfect English and was of great assistance. Breakfast is sumptuous and the room very comfortable (for a decent price).

Good location at Qingcheng hegu haven—10-minute walk to Panda Garden, easy taxis/parking. The restaurant’s Chinese food was amazing; adding some Western dishes would make it even better. Garden water lilies are beautiful, just watch for bugs.​

The hotel is very close to Lugu Lake, and the scenery is very beautiful. The hotel staff helped me borrow a bicycle so that I could go around the lake and see the beautiful scenery.

Our stay at W Chengdu was beyond our expectations. On our arrival, the receptionists were all very welcoming. The lobby is so stylish and modern, the room is so well-designed. Fancy: our room was very efficient and took great care of us. We loved the breakfast at the well-decorated Zing, we had lots of choice. The team at Zing is so warm and kind especially Jasmine, Hedy, Cassie, Mona, Ziki. We will not hesitate to come back again to W Chengdu for our next trip.
