Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Séjour très agréable, personnel très serviable toujours prêt à aider, chambre belle et confortable. Hôtel situé en retrait au calme tout en étant dans le cœur historique.

L’établissement 昆明开臣Kasion酒店 se situe à Kunming, à 1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Parc des expositions et centre de conventions international de Kunming. The room was so luxurious I couldn’t believe the price, especially with the phenomenal breakfast spread. High quality elements galore. Quiet neighborhood, not super central, but with Didi you get anywhere for nothing. The staff is absolutely adorable (accompanying me to the rice noodle soup restaurant around the block), but absolutely non English speaking. Sharpen your skills on Google translate. Master the instant photo translation to master the remote control of the Toto toilet so that it does what you want it to do l at the right pressure, temp and place! I love Asia.

Breakfast was very nice ,and comfortable hotel and with a request from me to a higher level, they didn’t hesitate to upgrade me which was a wonderful experience, from a lady who speak English with a beautiful smile and friendly. I wish I remember her name.

L’établissement Crowne Plaza - Kunming Ancient Dian Town by IHG se situe à Kunming, à 20 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Lac Dian. The hotel is beautiful from the moment the car pulls up out the front. It's huge with 420 rooms. My rooms was quite a walk from the lift was there was a view everywhere. The room was quite large and had everything I needed to enjoy my 4 nights.

Situated in Kunming among the greeneries, a 4-minute drive from Haigeng Park, HUALUXE Hotels & Resorts Kunming has a fitness centre and garden. The rooms are spacious, nice and clean with very comfy beds. Breakfast is excellent with great choice. Staff is nice and at reception there is always at least one English-speaking person. The hotel is a good option if you want to have some relaxing days outside the city center, but without problem to go there (approx. 30 minutes taxi ride). Restaurants can be found directly opposite the hotel or approx. 2 km away at the lakeside.

Our room was lovely—it was well-decorated, clean, and so cozy. We especially loved the high-quality amenities and the stunning view of the mountains and town. ​The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. There were so many delicious options, and we really enjoyed the variety. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help. While some didn't speak much English, we easily communicated using a translation app, and it was no problem at all. ​One of the most thoughtful things they did was surprise a family member with a birthday cake and a card. It was such a special touch that really showed their incredible hospitality. ​The resort is also in a great location. It was just a quick Didi ride to the ancient town, or a nice short walk if we felt like strolling. Plus, they even offer a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport or train station if you book it in advance. ​Overall, we had a truly wonderful time and can't say enough good things about our experience!
