Where to start to describe how wonderful our stay was - the house is just fantastic : large, clean rooms, super decent (canadian/swiss made … as the owner is swiss) and the swimming pool is gorgeous - the host : daniel was just fabulous , giving tips, baking bread, sharing beach gear, telling stories, … the world would be a better place with more people like him - the location : playa potrero is a bit more quiet than the surrounding playas (depends on your liking off course) … 200m and you walk onto the beach If we revisit costa rica, Casa Papito will definitely be booked again

The Sunset Shack ligt op slechts 50 m van de belangrijkste break van Guiones, in Nosara, Costa Rica. Het beschikt over een eigen restaurant en een buitenbad dat het hele jaar door geopend is. Restaurant was delicious and great value for money. Staff were exceptional. I felt so comfy travelling alone. Finally, the location was quiet, close to the beach and cool amenities and thankfully did not have the touristy feel of North Nosara.

My stay was absolutely stunning, with spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. I especially loved the small island across from us, which I named Crocodile Island because it’s shaped just like a crocodile. The landscape, the rooms, the restaurants, and the staff-everything was top-notch. Special shout out to Wilson, thank you for all your assistance. Every moment of my stay was memorable. I highly recommend visiting during the off-season when it’s quieter, less crowded, and more peaceful. The highlight for me was experiencing their incredible rain showers during a thunderstorm—it felt magical, almost like a Divine Sky Symphony with lightning and thunder. Truly an unforgettable experience!
