Pourvu d'un toit en stucco, l'Hibiscus Beach House est situé à Jan Thiel, à 500 mètres des eaux turquoise de la mer des Caraïbes. Martin and Dianna were great hosts who made sure we felt welcomed. They also recommended sites and restaurants we might want to go to which was very helpful. The beach house was well decorated, cozy and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was beautiful. It was decorated very nicely and very clean. It smells very good and the views of the ocean were beautifully. The rooms were very nice and well kept. The resort had exceptional food and was conveniently located to many great restaurants and the downtown area of wilmestad all in walking distance! If you need a taxi for travel the staff will get one for you no problem.

There is no shop within walking distance, so it is highly recommended to rent a car along with the apartment. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and there are 3 or 4 restaurants nearby. The nearest supermarket is about 2 km away and only accessible by car. There are many iguanas in the area, and the terrace offers a beautiful view — perfect for breakfast or enjoying the sunset. It’s highly advisable to bring mosquito repellent, both for the apartment and for your skin, especially in the evenings and early mornings. The private beach at Blue Bay is fantastic for children! The apartment is rented by a private person who takes great care and responds promptly and kindly. There is also a washing machine and everything you need for cooking. Plenty of space for a large family (2 adults and 2–3 children). There are also some board games and toys for babies. And there were plenty of spices, oil, and other essentials for cooking.

The balcony was amazing. The pool was gorgeous and never busy. The beach is one of the best on the island.

Beautiful and spacious appartment in a well maintained resort centrally located on the island just a few kilometers from Willemstad. While the appartment has a living room, the large L-shaped porch actually served as our main living area, having comfortable sofas, chairs and dining table, where the wind (and ceiling fans) provides a nice and cooling ocean breeze, and from where we actually spotted a few hummingbirds. Two of the three bedrooms have their own bathroom, which was nice so our kids could have their own. The kitchen is well equipped, Wifi works well and the TV comes with a wide variety of channels (including Formula 1). The private resort beach, which we found to be amongst the nicest on the island, is just a few minutes walk from the appartment. Contact with the friendly and responsive owner Bob is very smooth, and he had some great suggestions on things to see, do and eat on the island. The property managers on site are also very friendly, helpful and responsive.
