The staff is super kind, joyous and peaceful, Mr. Shoum from the restaurant, making my check-out breakfast box with a fresh mango juice ready in a blink of an eye, Mrs. Merna and Mr. Joseph in the front desk being very helpful, upgrading my room to a jakuzi room, solving all my requests in minutes and, Mr. Besim delivering me my necklaces (that I realized that I forgot in my bathrobe’s pocket in the airport) in a speedy way right to the airport, all unforgettable… With the elegantly natural interior and exterior design in breeze of basil Ben Ben by Dhara is an oasis for Egyptian tourism. Because the place takes place in the lower dam you need to reach there by taxi and take the hotel’s boat waiting in the dock, but it’s worth the distance. I’d highly recommend, do not hesitate.

We booked the Economy Double Room and it was really spacious similar to a master bedroom complete with private bathroom toilet, waldrobe cupboard, table and fridge. The beds and mattresses are really comfortable and thick and the 2 pillows provided per person is equally fluffy thick and soothing for an ergonomical good night's rest. We love staying in Sama Stars Hotel in Abu Simbel and the owner also offered guests an option to enjoy a sunset boat ride for USD$15 per person in Lake Nasser to experience a kaleidoscopic boat ride overlooking the lake and the majestic stone rock mountains nearby the temple. Breakfast is also provided complimentary in the room that we booked from bookingcom and the host really served a hearty breakfast of pastries, yogurt, cheese, bread, olives, scramble eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes mediterranean egypt style. Really recommend to stay here if you are at Abu Simbel as for only USD$60+ (bookingcom rate), we had a fulfilling stay and experience and comfort in Abu Simbel while visiting the famous UNESCO Abu Simbel Temple

Breakfast is available, and includes à la carte, continental and Full English/Irish options. At The Zen Wellness Resort you will find a restaurant serving international cuisine. Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The reception team reached out right after I made my booking and even checked in about my arrival time, which was a nice touch. When I got there, they gave me a full run-through of the resort—restaurants, gym, all the facilities. The Jazoor restaurant was a real highlight: great food, beautiful Nile view, just the perfect combo. Breakfast was just as good in the lounge. Big thanks to Dina Hassan at reception, she was super supportive and really made the stay even better.

We book a room at this hotel for one night stay prior our Nile Cruise. Our flight arrival time was 8:30 a.m. and I had ask the hotel if they had a storage room were we could leave our luggage while our room became available. The hotel reply was quick and accommodating. To our surprise, once we arrived at the hotel, they had a room ready for us. We were so exhausted and happy to find a place to lay our head. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
