What I valued during my stay at Can Buch: the setting/location; the fresh, clean air; the quiet and tranquility except for a multitude of birdsongs, frog croaks, bubble bee hums, and sheep baaing; the farm to table meals offered 3 times/ per day (a full breakfast is included in the stay); the hiking trails that begin on the property; and the staff, who had a sense of humor, always congenial, knowledgeable about the area and the trails, and knew how to handle guests' requests ASAP. Best of all the ambiance of Can Buch engenders respectful guests.

Fantastic place we were very impressed. The host were so kind and helpful. Location is great near the center of town and very quiet. The swimming pool was great after a long day hiking. 10/10

Hotel Rural & Spa Mas Prat is located in the mountain town of Castellar de la Muntanya, just outside the Garrotxa Nature Reserve. This country house offers a restaurant and rooms with a private balcony. The location is amazing, in the woods, up in the hills with breathtaking views. The owners had great eye for details.
