Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

Très cosy, simple et efficace. Très chaleureux. Très bon emplacement et très joli endroit proche de la nature. Cela doit être magnifique aussi en été avec vue sur le lac et la « plage ». Bonne literie.

Situé à Saariselkä, le Castillo Kelotähti Apartment vous accueille dans un hébergement indépendant avec accès direct aux pistes de ski. The apartment was small, but just big enough for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). It was clean, comfortable, and a good temperature. We paid extra for the linen which wasn't put on the beds, so we had to make the beds which was a bit annoying when we were tired. It also made the stay more expensive when we paid extra for the baby linen and cot. Very handy drying cupboard, and great to have a washing machine, but no clothes detergent, which would have been useful. The directions to the apartment were a bit confusing, the pub on the corner isn't an Irish pub any more. The location was very good for getting the bus to the ski slopes, and taking walks to the grocery store and restaurants.

It had a lovely, charming atmosphere and provided plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenagers. All the required facilities were available. It is about a 20 minute walk into town - which we quite enjoyed (even in -28 degrees). The sledges at the property are helpful to use after a trip to the supermarket for helping with the shopping.
