Food was amazing, diving instructors very competent, manta ray swim was incredible! dorm was always very clean and acrivities so much fun
the only thing is, for backpackers info: you HaVE to pay for the mandatory meal plan per night you have booked, there’s no way getting around that… even if you don’t want to eat or don’t plan on being on the island that day
but i absolutely enjoyed my stay would definately recommend!

For those looking for an outstanding location and excellent accomodation, I highly recommend Waya Island Resort. Awesome environment and atmosphere. The standout features and superb service from staff who go above and beyond. The meals are excellent. There is great snorkelling and stand-up paddlebording included. Highly recommend the village visit and picnic.
Ultimately, for those looking for a place to just relax and wind down (without kids); this is a place to put on top of the list of locations in the Yasawa Islands.

Octopus resort is situated on a beautiful beach with fabulous snorkelling right off the beach. It’s possible to swim at both low and high tide and there is also a lovely swimming pool. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Everybody who works there are so friendly and helpful. It has a really welcoming family atmosphere. The food is absolutely exceptional. There’s a great range of activities, and a spa that offers a great range of massages and treatments to make your holiday the perfect relax.

The setting was perfect, a lovely beach with an incredible reef accessible either side of high tide by simply swimming out. Free access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The Manta Ray snorkel was incredible, you simply wait for the conch to be blown (it means they have been sighted in the channel) then you run for the beach and make sure you are signed up and ready to go. The trip is about FIJI $60 per person. There are plenty of other trips but we simply relaxed in the resort. Very friendly staff and nice food for a reasonable price.

Traditional but modern villas, spacious accommodations with garden area, on the beach front. Staff were amazing and so friendly, you really are made to feel special and part of the family.
Oh my goodness! What an amazing resort and little pocket of the world. We stayed 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were so lovely and the facilities great. So many activities. We loved the private beach picnics, beach, snorkelling and spa treatments. If you're looking for a place to stay in Fiji, book this one! You won't regret it. We will be back for sure!

The staff's kindness stood out for me, people are amazing, kind and helpful so massive thanks to them. I loved the food too, beautiful place to watch sunset and just have the best time basically. 100%recommend. The lady in spa was amazing tooo, can't thank her enough for giving me the best massage.

The food was delicious, many options on the menu where you can choose from. The Bure was beautiful, spacious en super clean. The stuff was really friendly and remembered each name of the guests. We really enjoyed our stay. We can recommend a stay here. A really romantic place for a couple to relax.
