Breakfast is delicious, with a wealth of local products (including honey from the park's own beehives). Such excentric location is obviously a bit distant from the centre of Bagnoles, but a powerful electric bike of the Chateau will get you there easily, if you wish! Worthwhile to mention that the owners have also made substantial efforts to make the exploitation of the Chateau green and sustainable for the local environment.

They made us feel completely at home in so many small ways beyond just excellent room comfort and breakfast. Onsite and secure parking is a huge plus for anyone visiting Normandy by car. The location is perfect for exploring all of Normandy, whether the beautiful coastal areas to the north and south of the Seine River which can be seen from here, or the marvelous villages and countryside inland of Pays d'Auge, Bayeux, Caen, or Mont Saint Michel, all easily doable as day trips from here. Our hosts offered helpful travel tips. Excellent grocery shopping is within minutes walking distance in the lovely village of La Rivière Sant Saveur. The rooms are well maintained and bedding very comfortable. There are beautiful views of the famous Pont de Normandie from this house. And the fully enclosed patio gave us many delightful evenings of enjoying a light picnic style dinner over local wine and cheese while we relaxed and absorbed the joys of our daily outings over eleven days. There was never a day of our extended stay when we did not feel the warmth of our hosts or the sheer pleasure of home style living while visiting this historically, gastronomically, and artistically magnificent region of France. We would not hesitate to come back and stay here again and again.

The campground provides an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and full-day security. Accommodation for disabled guests is also available at the property. Great camping! The cabin was spotless, smelled beautifully and was very comfortable. We received a welcome gift with local cider and candies. The SPA area is great and the camping is located just a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. We hope to come back soon!
