This is our second time at Les Carmes. It's a magnificent accommodation and I love the rooms, especially the showers! Pascal is such a great host, and this time we met Mina who was a delight and who so kindly encouraged our french. The aperitif hour at 7pm each night is a fun and generous addition to our stay and an opportunity to socialise with other guests if you choose. I am sure we will be back next trip to France.

Got the family room with balcony overlooking the pool where I was able to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset, doesn’t get better. Top quality bedding and linen honestly couldn’t say anything negative about it. A true 5 star hotel. Also made use of the gym.

Skiing, snorkelling and diving are possible within the area, and a water park is available on-site. I like the place, hospitability of hosts, how they cook and the atmosphere in house. Thierry and Nathalie are welcomed us with all the hospitality. They are very kind and interesting people, we had a wonderful evening and morning together. I can not recommend this property more. The location, the place itself was lovingly restored, the pool on hot summer days, the selection of drinks by the pool (the champagne was very good), but most importantly Florian and Emmanuel are what make this place so special. You can tell that this place is a labor of love. They treat you like family the entire stay. Florian has an amazing sense of humor and will keep a smile on your face the entire time. Emmanuel is kind and caring and wants to make sure everything is just right. The property is spotless thanks to Florian’s energy. A leaf would fall from the tree and he swoop in to catch it. The bed was excellent and the room was so quiet. Make sure Florian shows you the disco shower! Also prior to arrival they are great about communicating and even helped with getting our car parked. Staying with them was the highlight of Avignon! I can’t recommend it more!
