Installé à Rijeka, le Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort And Spa offre une vue sur la vieille ville d’Opatija et le village pittoresque de Volosko. This is a wonderful stop for just unwinding. You do not need to leave the grounds if you do not want to. Views from the rooms are incredible. You have basement parking and various restaurants to choose from. The private beach is just perfect and it is nice seeing a healthy ocean with lots of fish.

The swimming pool is not crowded (maybe because a bit cold). And very warm welcome from the staff especially at the reception.

Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

Hotel Kvarner - Liburnia features an outdoor swimming pool and a beach. It offers free WiFi, an air-conditioned restaurant and a summer terrace above the sea. Room 309 was excellent, balcony size and views was fantastic. The location was great close to everthing, restaurants, bars cafe's , coastal walks. Breakfast was great, all staff were fantastic.

The quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the dishes, and the flawless guest experience were all at a Michelin-star level. The young and passionate team truly impressed us, with a sous-chef whose talent and dedication shine through in every plate. The wine pairing is a must — perfectly curated to elevate each course to new heights. Simply unforgettable, and an experience I would recommend to any food lover visiting Cres.

A Hidden Gem Brought to Life by Professional Management I recently stayed at the Keight Hilton in Opatija and was pleasantly surprised—truly a big, big surprise. The facility is elegant, well-operated, and reflects the standards you’d expect from an internationally managed brand like Hilton. Croatia has immense potential, but what it often lacks is consistent, professional hospitality management. This stay confirmed my belief: Croatia needs more facilities managed by international hotel groups. The difference in service quality, attention to detail, and overall experience is striking. With more properties operated at this level, Croatia could genuinely become a pearl of the Mediterranean, not just in beauty but also in service excellence. I liked the place. I liked how it ran. And I left convinced that this is the way forward.
