Kilkenny und stammt aus dem Jahr 1757.... Fantastische Lage und wunderschönes Hotel, das jeden Komfort bietet, den man von einem 5* Hotel erwarten würde. Zusätzlich traumhafte Ausblicke vom Wintergarten des Restaurants The Hound, sehr bequeme Betten, ein schöner Poolbereich mit Sauna und Dampfbad. Abends werden die Räume aufgefrischt und Schokoladen auf die Kissen gelegt. Das gesamte Personal ist extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung ist super geschmackvoll und zeitlos elegant. Auch die anderen Gäste waren sehr angenehm, soll heißen ruhig und gepflegt. Im Bad gab es sogar Produkte von Bulgari, die auch noch traumhaft gerochen haben. Das Frühstück ist top und der Wintergarten/die Terrasse wird auch zusätzlich beheizt, wenn nötig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gern noch länger geblieben, waren aber auf Rundreise und somit nur eine Nacht hier.

The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are great. One should have sufficient time to enjoy the peroperty as it has a lot to offer. The restaurant was packed and obviously well thought of. We enjoyed the bar. A special hello to Max and Murphy!

What did I like?? EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the owner ever wants to sell, please let me know!!! The house was GORGEOUS - large bedrooms, clean, had toiletries and laundry soap and extra coffee/tea/sugar/etc. in the kitchen. Outside sitting area was lovely with a grill. They even had a golf cart (we didn't use it but what a lovely feature)!!! Absolutely silent at night.
