We couldn’t have met a nicer host than Sandy . We received a message prior to our arrival asking what time we hoped to arrive . This was so the heating was on and the apartment were lovely and warm when we arrived ! There was a tray of scones sitting on the kitchen table , brown soda bread , brown bread , lovely Tayto crisps and fresh fruit . It’s not too often you get that on arrival . Very much appreciated . Very easy assessing the building with our key code , very clean apartment and bedrooms were very clean and comfortable . A lovely location near the main road . Overall
A perfect host and property .

Stunning location on the water and the view over breakfast was incredible 😍 a beautiful venue for the wedding we attended. The room and bathroom were big and the shower was great (always a win).

All the staff were very welcoming and were approachable with any and all assistance.
The hotel is a short walk to the beach, and even on stressful days, the spa was a great way to decompress.

Nicely located on the side of a hill on the outskirts of town. Has a country club feel about it. Good reception and check in. Good service and staff. All on one level, spacious clean and welcoming .Comfortable attractive rooms. Small handy snack machine in hall. Attractive and comfortable dining and bar area inside. Also enjoy a meal or maybe a guiness or Irish whisky in the spacious forecourt taking in the sun in the afternoon with distant views beyond the Barrow River
A very enjoyable breakfast in separate area inside.
A short walk into town by the lower main road or up the slope at the end of hotel driveway and in to town past a small supermarket nice corner shop and along past the three bullet gate, town wall (road) and tower ruin, nice little pub opposite the park and on to the historic St Mays church and Abbey ruins and meander down into town and the wharf area.(most shops closed on Sunday)
