Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Good food in bar and restaurant. Fireplaces and coffee bar and comfortable chairs. Generous check out time at 12 noon. Home made jam and marmalade in big jars at breakfast.

The Rainforest Day Spa is located next to the hotel and offers a range of spa packages. The spa overlooks the Irish Sea and the hills, with loungers surrounding the spa’s hot tub. There is a sauna and a range of luxurious holistic and beauty treatments including Swedish massages. We really enjoyed our stay at Summerhill House Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was tasty, and the hotel is close to Powerscourt.

Russborough House is 4 miles away, whilst Punchestown Racecourse is 8.5 miles away. Every staff person we encountered was helpful, going out of their way to assist us. From check in, servers at meal to checkout. One of the maintenance staff was especially helpful, assisting with a minor issue with our vehicle's mirror. The location and grounds are tranquil, quiet, and beautiful! Lovely walking. Really comfortable bed.

A lot of thought has gone into the guest experience, with an emphasis on relaxation/mindfulness and nature. Food was also delicious and of high quality. All at a very reasonable rate.

Wells Spa has an extensive range of treatments on offer. Facilities include a Finnish baths, a vitality pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub. Everything. The rooms were high end, beds were very comfortable. Quiet location, and the facilities are great. Drink service in the common lounge area before dinner was very nice.
