This is the best hotel that I've ever stayed in!!! It was a super amazing experience!!! I will never forget . The stuff is the best, it feels that they love their job and clients so much, I have no explanation how they do it. All other hotels should learn from them. Every single person there is super friendly and professional and makes you feel a king. Complimenti!!!! The hotel, the garden and swimming pool with sea water are the best!!! Our stay at the Capitolo Riviera Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is fantastic—conveniently close to the train station, making it a breeze to explore the stunning Riviera. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. A special shoutout to Simone, who was an absolute star! He organized a boat charter for us, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip—swimming in the crystal waters of Portofino and visiting the breathtaking sunken statue of Jesus of the Abyss was an unforgettable experience. The hotel also impressed us with their attention to detail, even ensuring our electric car was fully charged and ready to go. In an area where finding a high-quality hotel with exceptional service can be challenging, Capitolo Riviera is a true standout. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! I would give this place 1000 stars if I could! My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and it was incredible. It is straight out of a romantic movie set in rural Italy, but the city is very close. Just make sure to take a taxi from the city out there. By bus and then foot there is 524 steps (yes we counted) and they are fine going down, but can be a lot when going back from a day of walking. The hosts did tell us though, so that’s on us. We didn’t even know they made their own food until they asked us if we wanted dinner on our arrival day a couple of days before we arrived. But this was the best food we had in the whole trip. Most of the ingredients were grown on their farm, and we got to try some local dishes we would have never heard of. The pool area is nice, calm and clean. They have a fridge stocked with wine, water, drinks and snacks. None of the usual stuff, but again homemade vegetable chips and juices. All of it delicious. The host couple is extremely nice. We didn’t have much contact with the husband, but he made the food, so that alone makes him my best friend. The wife is the de facto hostess and is so sweet and helpful. She will help you find the right bus, tell you about the good restaurants and how best to get around. All while smiling and joking, such a pleasant soul. All in all I can not recommend it enough. Everything about this place is perfect. You will not regret visiting.
