The rooms of the hotel Sunset all have a private bathroom with shower. Modern amenities include a air conditioning and satellite TV. It exceeded my expectations, specially because they claim to be 1 star hotel, however they are much more nicer than 3 stars hotels I stayed. Everything clean, maintanable, friendly staff, and the location is perfect for both Petra and restaurants/groceries. Breakfast was also the best I had in hotels on Jordan (keeping the Jordan stay standards: few "western" options).

But this is not the best in this hotel. The lady supervisor is the nicest, the most organized person I've met in any hotel. Whatever we needed, one word and she took care of it. Confidence, control and positive energy. She could easily be head of any hotel in the world. Great stay, fully recommend

A special mention to the Chef for going above and beyond to support my dietary requirements (he asked my partner what I liked and then surprised me with wonderful food both at breakfast and dinner). The rooms are full of character. The facilities are really good. It was the best place we stayed in Jordan. Petra is 10 minutes drive away but easy to get to and park and to get back from.

You can take a local bus early in the morning to go to Wadi Rum, just ask them to book a seat for you. Very clean and well located.

Perfectly clean, cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is really tasty. And it'only 4 min with a car to Petra visitor's center and 5' walking to the city center. The big star however goes to the staff. The guy was so helpful, so accurate with all recommendations! He helped us to prepare a plan to visit most of Petra giving the little time we had. He also arranged a lunch boxes for all of us for Petra visit, as a compliment. We were a group of 11 and felt in secure hands while with him!
