Overall a great experience! The location is great with easy access to transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was small as shown in the photos, but worked well for a couple with light luggage. A good selection of amenities were included, as well as two different types of pillows to choose from. I highly recommend visiting the baths on the second floor as a way to unwind after a day of activities! The staff were excellent and service was great! The breakfast available at the hotel restaurant had a decent selection to choose from, including both western and Japanese options.

Plus, the hotel was very elegant. Extra bonus is the hydrofoil boat that docks outside the hotel that takes you to and from Itsukushima Island. The hotel was the site of the G7 conference in 2023, with lots of photos documenting the summit. The hotel is also used for weddings, and we got to watch the end of a lovely wedding, with the new bride and groom walking up a three-story circular stairway, while the wedding guests applauded the couple from the balconies overlooking the three-story central grand lobby. Just lovely.

Located along Hiroshima's shoreline opposite Miyajima Island, known for World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, Aki Grand Hotel offers western and Japanese style rooms, free parking and 4... The view was breathtaking. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly; they will make your stay special. Breakfast was delicious. Also, it is easy to access, there is shuttle that will pick you up from the local JR station to the hotel and back to catch a boat to Itsukushima. Until next time!

Very nice staff, we were able to store our suitcases before check in and after check out. The Onsen has 3 baths and one sauna with no additional cost to use. Really enjoyed staying at this very central hotel and would recommend to everyone!
