A great location in the city center — just a short walk to the river and surrounded by plenty of sites, excellent places to eat or grab a drink. Be sure to try 525 for their excellent cocktails and food. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was fantastic, offering both local and international options. Highly recommended

The breakfast offered more than enough in both quality and quantity. The staff are professional, kind, and always willing to assist. I enjoyed both the continental and the traditional Laotian options. Expecting anything beyond this would be unreasonable—it reflects a lack of understanding of Laos, and indeed of much of the world. The hotel is very well located. Vientiane is a small Asian city, and although distances are short, walking during the hotter parts of the day can be exhausting. I chose to go for walks very early in the morning (around 6 am), then return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. After that, I always used Loca/Taxi, which was reliable, clean, inexpensive, and safe. Fares - Airport ⇄ hotel: 135–150 000 Kip, Train station ⇄ hotel: 250–300 000 Kip (depending on traffic) Hotel ⇄ city centre/monuments 55 000Kip. I stayed in two different rooms, both of exceptional quality, especially considering the economic context. Everything worked perfectly, and the level of comfort exceeded that of equivalent hotels in Australia or the United States. The manager, Mario, and the night desk officer, Rico, went above and beyond to help me with the booking and to make my stay memorable. If I return, I will certainly stay here again.
