What a lovely surprise! From the moment we walked in - a very warm reception and great surrounding. Rooms spacious, comfortable and very clean. Dinner was another surprise - delicately prepared soup, biryanis and curries. Worth the wait as everything is prepared from scratch. Excellent location as Habarana gave us the opportunity to explore Central Province to the full. Combine all this with exquisite staff and the formula is complete. Well done guys, you deserve these 5 stars!

We had a lovely stay at at Manike lodge ! The rooms were spotless and the ac worked perfectly. The rooms were also very big with room to make yourself at home. What we loved most was the kind host family, they were so helpful and sweet to us. Also the breakfast was amazing. My boyfriend is a big guy and he ate very well and was never hungry. Absolutely would stay here again if we ever return and would recommend staying here to my friends and family

I’ve stayed at Oleena Homestay before and loved it, so I’m back again. I like the serenity of the place set among trees and plants and bird songs. And the hosts, Jeewa and Masha are wonderful people with their lovely daughter Oleena. The breakfast were sumptuous and they are able to arrange savoury lunch and dinner 😋. Masha is a great cook. 😍 The garden rooms come with your own private balcony. One may have the food at the balcony or at the nice airy dining hut. Jeewa was able to arrange trips around the area. Excellent hospitality. 😊

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Sehr liebe GastgeberInnen. Gab uns Tips für Ausflüge und fuhr uns an einem Tag von Sehenswürdigkeit zu Sehenswürdigkeit. Konnten dort auch ein sehr leckeres Abendessen genießen. Gerade wird auch ei Pool gebaut. Insgesamt sehr gemütlich und empfehlenswert.

Even though the property is a bit away from the main road, we were always provided with transportation as and when required at a very good price. They also helped arrange the village tour and Minneria Safari at a competitive price. Always willing to sort out things for you, you just have to mention something and they would be able to arrange it for you.

Die Unterkunft Habarana Tree house Mutu village verfügt über einen Garten und eine Terrasse, ist in Habarana gelegen, 11 km von Pidurangala-Felsen und 12 km von Sigiriya-Monolith entfernt. Im Habarana Tree house Mutu Village hat uns alles gefallen 😃 Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit (zB beim Gepäcktragen). Wir haben einen Wassermelonensaft als Willkommensdrink bekommen 😋. Das Baumhaus war groß mit einer Terrasse und es war nett eingerichtet. Das Bett war extra breit und gemütlich. Das Bad im Freien war für uns ein Highlight, weil einfach total ungewohnt. Mal was ganz anderes. Der Pool ist groß und eine super Abkühlung nach zB einer Safari od. einem Besuch auf dem Pidurangala Rock. Das Abendessen war super lecker und mehr als ausreichend und auch beim Frühstück waren wir wunschlos glücklich. Die ganze Anlage in dem die Baumhäuser stehen ist ein kleiner Dschungel und Park. Überall Bäume, Blumen und Teiche mit Fischen und Seerosen. Einfach sehr schön und auch angenehm, weil schattig. Super Lage nicht weit von der Stadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt, aber trotzdem im Grünen. Das Mutu Village kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
