They have only been operating for less than one year and still needs a few amenities such as a fridge to add value to the room. However, the staff do make up for the lack of amenities. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and to a high standard. Keep up the great service.

Free WiFi access is available in this resort. It’s tranquility, it’s luxury, it’s staff, don’t have enough words for how much we loved this place but it was heaven. The view from our room was stunning, coconut forest with abundance of wildlife and eagles soaring above. The room itself was excellent. The food in the restaurant was class and I can’t thank the staff enough they all made our stay memorable.

The hotel has a restaurant, a spa and wellness centre and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. Excellent location - right at the beach, we loved the sea view! The beach is phenomenal, not overcrowded and fine sand- and there are hammocks and some basic, self-built sun lounges. Near restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, yet a bit away from the main streets, so the music from the nearby bars/discos is less loud, but good choice and variety- we wanted to stay in a place where you can eat in multiple different reataurants. That said, very nice breakfast and also overall hotel restaurant food, like in most places in Sri Lanka, bring lots of time, it is slow and laid back, but you are rewarded with delicious dishes. The restaurant kitchen can be looked into and it is clean and of higher standard than elsewhere. The staff, esp. the manager on duty / head waiter was extremely kind. Spacious room with good AC and plenty of space, convenient shelves. No mosquito nets- but also no mosquitoes! That made it very comfortable. We would have much prefered wooden floor or tiles though, instead of the carpet in the room, for hygiene reasons. We got onward car transportation arranged through the hotel, which worked reliably- can recommend. We had a wonderful time chilling in the hammocks, swimming and enjoying the beach.

But the best thing about this place is the people. Everyone who worked here was so friendly kind and helpful. Antony the host was incredibly knowledgeable on areas to visit and always happy to help. We asked him one morning about hand weaving and he then organised for us to go with him to visit two different weaving mills and meet some amazing people, no extra cost or pressure to buy goods just really honest and happy to help. Thank you so much for having us. It was such a highlight of our trip! We will be back

We stayed two nights and everything was fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The family is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is very tasty and the garden is beautiful, perfect to start the day refreshed! We recommend Pranu without hesitation :)

The staff was nice, kind, always attentive to our needs and helpful in organizing activities and transportation to the train station. The beach was just a few steps from our room.

Rooms are built on rustic wooden huts. Each room is beautifully furnished with a private balcony overlooking the sea, a seating area and ironing facilities. The spacious en suite bathrooms include a hairdryer. Top hotel at a wonderful beach, very nice wooden cottages, friendly staff and reliable service e.g. the airport transfer. On the way from Colombo to Nilaveli and Trincomalee You are passing jungle and national parks, having wild elephants on the road, an exciting experience also, even though it is a car ride by around 5 hours. Warmly recommended!
